June 9, 20169 yr Just now one of the F-5 fighters of the Patrouille de Suisse crashed near Bitgum, a small town in the Netherlands near the airbase of Leeuwarden. Fortunately according to the latest news the pilot ejected and is ok. The demoteam is visiting the Netherlands for the airshow at EHLW on June 10th and June 11th. Edit: and then I read there was also a crash of one of the SU-27's of the Russian Knights earlier today. That pilot did not survive...
