June 10, 20169 yr Hi there all, AVSIM seems to of changed since i last made a post and added an image. For some reason i'm having trouble this time. When i click the add image button on the forum post i enter the URL of the image which i have got from uploading the image to dropbox, I then get an error from AVSIM telling me i cannot use this file extension on this community? I have edited the image and re-saved it as a different file type and then repeated the above process but i'm still getting the same message. Does anyone have any idea what i am doing wrong? It would be a great help as i can't really post my topic without adding the picture. Thank you, Michael.
June 10, 20169 yr I have never gotten an answer to this same question. I get the same error message (for some time now) even though I follow the Forum's instructions exactly. Simply gave up trying to post images here. Cheers, Jeff
June 11, 20169 yr AVSIM uses the BBCode so your link has to be a BBCode type link. Most providers give you a BBCode link. If not, you can also click on the Image icon in the menu of your post. Copy and paste the link into that space. I hope you both have had the opportunity to read the detailed instructions posted by one of our creative members - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/ If you have further questions, please post them here.
