June 12, 20169 yr I would like to do a full install of the new ver of P3d is there any way i can save the aircraft folder add drop it into the new install and not have to reload each one ? MSI Z370 MB I78700K @5.1Mhz STABLE EVGA FTW 1080 TI NO OC BUT BOOST MODE P3D V4.XX Orbex Global PMDG 777
June 12, 20169 yr Moderator Yes - two ways - copy your existing folder and replace it after install telling it NOT to overwrite files or do the uninstall but do NOT delete the P3D folder - all your custom a/c will remain - P3D only deletes files it installed. AS long as you reinstall to the SAME folder - you are fine. Possibility of having to clean up some entries in dll.xml.exe.xml, simobjects.cfg so you might want to back up these, JIC. June 13, 20169 yr That is what I do quite frequently, un-install P3D, but don't go and delete leftovers in the install folder. Only delete the 4 files that have always been asked to be deleted, 3 appdata folders and 1 document folder.
