July 13, 20169 yr Has anyone that was previously running a 970 upgraded to a 1080 and if so what were the results as far as fps and visuals? Is it worth it? Kevin Humphryes

July 13, 20169 yr Moderator Just ordered two 1070's to replace my two 970's. Should be interesting to see. IMHO, the 970/980 and the 1070/1080 situation are similar. I don't see that much difference in the cards to warrant that much difference in price. I think right now, the 1070 is the best bang for the buck. Meaning, in P3d or FSX, the performance difference between the 1070 and 1080 isn't worth the additional cost. Other products and game titles could be a big difference.
