July 13, 20169 yr Hi I accidentally deleted the exe.xml file in Appdata/Lockheed Martin. Can I copy the exe.xml file from ProgramData/Lockheed Martin into the Appdata folder ? Thanks
July 13, 20169 yr Yes. But you can create your own exe.xml file. Go to ► Computer ► Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► you ► AppData ► Roaming ► Lockheed Martin ► PreparD v3 1 Right Click anywhere on a white bit, Click New, Click New Document. 2 A New Tex Document will appear, Right Click and Rename it to exe.xml. 3 Perfect When you have created your exe.xml file you can copy and Paste this into it, Click Save <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>EXE.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
July 13, 20169 yr I recall that many add-ons make a backup of the file when you do an install. Perhaps you have this option and can rename one back to exe.xml. Use the date modified column to select the most recent. Be aware of course that you will need to enter any missing add-on entries. I'm sure the entries in both locations are merged when starting P3D as I've not seen duplicate entries in both files. I guess the add-on developer chooses which location to append his data. Cheers, howevr
