July 15, 20169 yr Hi, See the screenshot. I'm at Sonoma airport, KSTS. The GNS 530 does not show the class D airspace. Is this normal. or is there something wrong with my install? Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
July 15, 20169 yr Commercial Member We are not currently using a newer/more current airspace data. There are plans to address this in a future release. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
July 16, 20169 yr Author Ok thanks. So your current data is different from the default FSX/Prepar3D data? I use Prepar3D and the KSTS class D airspace shows on the map view and therefor also on the GNS 430 of the Carenado Beech Bonanza for example. July 18, 20169 yr Commercial Member I had a discussion regarding this with one of our other developers and it turns out that Class D airspace wasn't being displayed correctly at all and thus has been disabled entirely until it can be corrected. My apologies for thinking it was simply a database age issue, as that is what it turns out to be most of the time. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
July 19, 20169 yr Author Thanks Ed. I hope the developers will find a way to solve this. Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
July 19, 20169 yr Commercial Member On our list is to provide current airspace displays... so I'm certain it will be solved by then. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
