September 10, 20169 yr i had to set my max vis surface and high alt. to 200 to get even a remotely clear day. seems like the vis is way lower than it indicates. i.e. 200 miles is practically beyond your eyes ability to discern, but its still quite foggy in the distance, tested with custom weather with low humidity etc,. this is at 10-15,000 feet. am I doing something wrong here? tried with and without PTA no diff. love the engine though, will defo be buying.

Realistic settings as I do mostly fly IFR Cheers Mike Be careful with higher settings, or you'll start seeing high VAS consumption. Look at the Avsim P3D guide recently released here in "Hot Spots", written by Rob A., there's a chapter dedicated to AS16 recommended settings for realism vs VAS and FPS impact.
