August 9, 20169 yr Hi, I'm not sure but it may be possible to delete the active Standard.xml down there in the Appdata section and letting FSX rebuild it. There is a template Standard.xml in the main FSX folder which is likely used to restore the controls to the default. I do not know if this template was updated to reflect the default Acceleration controls but it seems likely. Jim F.

August 10, 20169 yr Hi Chris, I completely forgot about that. Hope I didn't make any unnecessary work for anyone. I used it one time in trying to reset just my joystick commands and discovered that all commands were reset. Jim F.

After all these years of using FSX I just assumed it would be a convoluted process. I am programmed to expect nothing more. Got it sorted last night anyhow.
