Whenever I start FSX, load the plane, EZDOK doesn't want to write to the aircraft I selected. Then I ignore the message, then EZDOK crashes on FSX loading.

I have had this problem in the past it is very fraustrating i know! what i did was i restarted the game until ezdok worked! now it just works!

Is Simconnect.dll necessary for EZDOK?

I've had this problem as well. I uninstalled EZCA and downloaded the full installer from Flight1. The latest installer has the complete, updated version (1.18.7, if I remember correctly), so you won't have to install an older version and then update after update after update. Before reinstalling, I also deleted the Flight1 *.lic file for EZCA, which is found in one of the folders that the wrapper installs.

 

After doing all of that, things were back to normal. You should check out the EZDok support forum on simforums.com. Lots of useful help there.
