Vive VR

Featured Replies

Has anyone bought or tried the Vive?  I was thinking about trying it but (in the UK at least) it's quite pricey (£700 approx).   Interested in opinions from current owners/users..

What flight sim are you using?  I think the key is that the FlyInside software is a key piece for FSX/P3D.  Furthermore, from my past queries, it seemed that it only worked with occullus rift/dk1.    When I just googled it now I see "Occulus Rift for FSX/P3D" on the google page https://www.google.com/#q=flyinside&rct=j  EDIT, I just read the middle of their page and it says it does work with Vive.

I was able to get FSX (or was it P3D)  on my S6 phone looking like the fish eye as they should, but...learned flyinside won't work with it.

Not particularly fussed with using it for flightsimming,  I don;t think the time is right yet.  But anyay, I've decided against the Vive for now.  Too pricey.
