Silent idle sound

Featured Replies

Hi all,

When I use this new sound package in a specific aircraft (Eaglesoft Hawker, but this question goes for all aircraft) , the sound with the throttles at idle is silent. But when I move them forward I hear the normal sounds.

So, how can I make the sounds activate at idle? Do I somehow adjust the idle in the aircraft.cfg? Or is it something in the sound.cfg?

Thanks,

Matt John

What is "this" new sound package?  Is it a freeware or payware sound set?  My guess would be that there

are some .wav files in the sound folder that are responsible for the engine idle sounds, probably labeled

jet whine or similar.  I would believe that the volume on those could be adjusted higher.

Dumb question - have you checked the volume sliders in settings?
