August 26, 20169 yr You need a better graphics card. Nvidia GTX 1080 or Titan X-Pascal are the only ones in the market capable of running 4K while maintaining a good frame rate. Nvidia GTX 1080 will run P3D 3.3.5 - 3840 pixels × 2160 at 20 to 50 fps and even higher depending on your settings and location. I ran 4K without a problem on a GTX 970 Pete Richards I've owned every version of flight simulator since Flight Simulator 3.0 in 1988. Windows 11 Pro loaded on a 4TB Gen5 Crucial T700 SSD, 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, Ryzen 9 7950x3d, AS Rock X670e Taichi Motherboard, Gigabyte Gaming RTX 4090 OC 24GB, 64GB (2x32GB) Viper Venom DDR5-6000MT/s, MSI 32" MAG 321UPX QD-OLED 260hz 4K Gaming Monitor.

August 27, 20169 yr Default scenery vs FTX Global doesn't change the FPS much on my system. Ok, that's good to know. gb. YSSY. August 30, 20169 yr Forkboy2, how are the response times running on a 4K TV? Do you see any ghosting? No ghosting and I'm using a Vizio, which isn't exactly a high end TV. Not sure about fast paced first person shooter though.
