Anyone ever see this before?

In P3d - go to MMDO (Durango) - go to map view and zoom out - southwest of the airport, in the mountains are several orange markings.  Zooming in shows the words FALL as in the attached.

 

If I am flying over it in real time I see them and sometimes a texture will fill in over same.

 

Any clue what this might be?

I remember seeing this before a while ago, back then I was using FSX boxed version and could read not fall but something else, since I upgraded to FSX-SE and DX10 haven't seen again.

Yes. I had this last week when I saw this in South America and was resolved by reinstalling ORBX base, as suggested by ORBX.

I have seen this... but it was spring instead of fall... the season tip is right on.  This is what can happen when the texture.cfg is pointing to a seasonal texture file that is not available..., I think (I've slept many times since i saw this).  Has to do with landclass.  Reinstall Orbx Global Base package as suggested by Troy.

I just have the Orbx Regions installed and not the Orbx Global/Vector stuff so most likely the reason why I do not see this around Durango or anywhere else (so far!).

Disabled SceneryTech NA landclass and problem resolved.
