Q for FSX-SE users that own I7 6950X

Featured Replies

I am contemplating upgrade my I7 5960X to 6950X, I would like to hear from owners of this CPU that are  using FSX-SE  as their sim,  what they think and what you had prior to it?

Would be even better if you had the 5960X.

Take a look at some benchmarks, but to be honest I wouldn't bother. You might see a percent or so worth of difference for the (rather high) cost.

Fsx is based on a really old engine so i think you might gain one or two frames but i really don't think the result would justify the expense.
