TEXTURE MAX LOAD comes back to 1024

Featured Replies

Hello

I have set TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=2048 in FSX.CFG or by the DX10 GUI, but sometimes, it goes back to 1024 ?????

I have this information from the DIAGNOSTIC button, and I always check that before starting FSX.

Can you fix this problem

Thank you for your help

Whenever you make a change to settings within fsx it writes out the config.

The dvd version always sets texture max load to a maximum of 1024 when it dos so.

Fsx steam edition has been updated not to do this.

This has annoyed people for years. The reason for the check in the diagnostics is to warn you if this has happened.

Thank you

I noticed that it came back to 1024 after a change in the general settings (by the fsx program)§
