P-51?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of a good freeware P-51 for FS2004?Thanks!

Look up "Reno Air Racers" in the Avsim library. The P-51 by Roger Dial, Steve Small and Mike Hambly is very good. There are a lot of repaints available too.

Also check out Shigeru Tanaka's fine Mustang on Flightsim.com. File name is stpma.zipJim

The BEST Mustang is the Shockwaves Wings of Power.Get the Best and forget the rest. The VC is great the Model, FDE and Sounds are second to none.If you want a GREAT Mustang get this one, it's worth every penny, you will not be disappointed.A lot of repaints on Avsim and Sim Outhouse.http://shockwaveproductions.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=781Hollister

What he said.

I agree with that, but he DID ask for a FREEWARE Mustang. ;)

Yes Bob he did, I know that................The Reno Racers were great for their time, but time and Shockwave have passed them by.I thought Carob may not know about the fantastic Shockwave P-51 Mustang, because if he did he would want anything but the SWP P-51.

They are not freeware, but the package from http://www.skyunlimited.net/ is wonderful as well. It includes the A through C series, including the A-36 ground attack variant. They look great and are a lot of fun to fly. There are close to 60 paint schemes included, as well as seperate sound files for the Merlin and Allision engines.Tony
