October 1, 20169 yr BGNO is one of those airports which is not in the default FSX:SE, and you'll not get many commercial passenger flights to and from it. Fortunately there's a freeware airport http://scenery4flightsims.com/FSX_New_Scenery.html My decision to do a flight was based upon me seeing this video of an off-roading IL-76 ! I found out where this happened and cobbled up a cargo hop from Reykjavik to Station Nord. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrrtrRz1A2Q Preparing for departure at Reykjavik. Smoking those Solovievs! Climbing to cruise alt. Eastern coastal area of Greenland Top of descent. Good weather so far, but there's some low level (2500 feet or so) cloud at Station Nord. Speaking of clouds - not bad for stock augmented by FSOpen Clouds. Better weather than expected! Runway looks a little short for someone newly qualified on the big transport (me! Yeah right, as if... LOL) one go-around coming up! See you in a few minutes! Downwind... Touchdown. Taxiing in (strange artifact near the de-ice truck) Time to unload the supplies and warm up with a hot meal. Thanks for viewing!
