Confused about nvidia inspector and the nvidia control panel

Featured Replies

Good evening,

I've been doing some research with regard to nvidia and p3d.

What I'm wondering is should I have both nvidia inspector and the nvidia control panel

Installed or should I be only using one of these programs?

Thanks

The NVidia control panel is part of their driver package and is not an option.

NI is an option but I've found that I do not need it, the only settings that it provides not available from the control panel are not necessary with my system. It's an option... up to you.

Thanks for the reply,

Also, wondering if anyone has run into this problem, I was looking over the cfg file and it says

My display card is an old gt9800 that I switched out a while ago, is that normal?....

EDIT: I just deleted the cfg file and it rebuilt it properly
