October 10, 20169 yr Dear all, I've had a crash which troubles me a lot. My P3D crashes during all flights from Hong Kong to Europe, it happens at around 4-5 hours in-sim-time. It doesn't happen on all long haul flights though as I flew from Hong Kong to Sydney without problems. I checked the event log and it indicates an ntdll crash. I have reinstalled windows, P3D, and updated my drivers, however it still happens to my sim. If someone has a clue it would be much appreciated. I used PMDG 777, GSX, OpusFSI and IVAP. Only scenery installed are Aerosoft EDDF V2, Aerosoft LSZH, T2G VHHH, FlyTampa Kai Tak, Dragoneye Hong Kong. My hardware is a Core i5 750, GTX950 with 1T hard drive. Here's my log Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 3.4.9.18400, time stamp: 0x57d9b14e Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.14393.206, time stamp: 0x57dacde1 Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x000d9841 Faulting process id: 0xdc8 Faulting application start time: 0x01d222cb1fd1c07b Faulting application path: D:\Prepar3D v3\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: e14db1c2-6749-4378-8046-0b83194cef5b Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2016-10-10T10:00:54.734349200Z" /> <EventRecordID>3179</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>Cedric-PC</Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>Prepar3D.exe</Data> <Data>3.4.9.18400</Data> <Data>57d9b14e</Data> <Data>ntdll.dll</Data> <Data>10.0.14393.206</Data> <Data>57dacde1</Data> <Data>c0000374</Data> <Data>000d9841</Data> <Data>dc8</Data> <Data>01d222cb1fd1c07b</Data> <Data>D:\Prepar3D v3\Prepar3D.exe</Data> <Data>C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll</Data> <Data>e14db1c2-6749-4378-8046-0b83194cef5b</Data> <Data /> <Data /> </EventData> </Event> Regards, C Schaffhausen
October 10, 20169 yr I have reinstalled windows, P3D, and updated my drivers, however it still happens to my sim. If someone has a clue it would be much appreciated. See the AVSIM CTD Guide, pages 33, 34 for possible solutions. If you have MyTraffic6 installed, disable mytrafficmil.bgl by renaming it to mytrafficmil.orig. File is located in my MyTraffic folder/ Scenery. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! October 11, 20169 yr Author I'm running the updates with driver booster now, no traffic installed so that shouldn't be the problem. Hopefully it works Regards, C Schaffhausen
October 11, 20169 yr Updating hardware drivers is extremely important and has fixed many CTD's. Good luck! Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
