  1. Few questions here: 1. Can someone comment on the refresh rate of the PFD and ND? from the Avgeek video the refresh rate looks bad in fs9 2. How does the fps in VC compare to the PMDG 777? I can't use my desktop for now so a comparison would let me know if my PC can run it well 3. How does the gear perform during touchdown? Can someone post a video of the main gear touchdown?   7. I merged the CLS 330/340 with Wilco too, with the VC merged (well, yes in some extent), facing some problems though. 1. The spoiler is unable to arm properly, unless you reload the aircraft and to check if the spoiler can be armed in the VC, if it arms you're ready to fly (well, most of the time it would be fine) 2. Once again, the spoiler is unable to extend fully. I got this one fixed by adding a xml script, no problem now. 3. About the A346 merge, I got everything working except the control surfaces droop even though engines are up and running, no idea on this one.
  8. Well I can't say I agree with you, the low res texture of the CLS model is a pain in the &@($*, the managed to do it so well on the 346 but not on the 330/340 series. The external model is alright I shall say, but it would be great to see what PA would offer. I guess they will release the WV model first, then the VC model later, as they did on the 380

I've been merging the PA planes with wilco panels for quite some time, but I'm unable to fully merge the A32x series because of a trimming problem, the aircraft requires a very high trim during landings in order to be able to flare. I've tried to search in your forum and other forums, but I don't seem to be able to find the solution. There's a solution saying that changing the following lines in the wilco aircraft.cfgempty_weight_CG_position=0.000, 0.000, 0.000to thisempty_weight_CG_position=0.63, 0.000, 0.000I tried that but the trim is still out of normal during landings, any ideas?

  13. My idea is to start all of them to check if there's problem on the engines, minimizing the possibility of returning to gate when failed to start the engines on the taxiway. But I wonder if this could be done, especially in airports where taxi time is not enough to cool the engines back down.
  14. Hi all, I'm working on a fuel saving project in my college, and I'm having some problems about ground engine restart. I was proposing the following procedure:1. Start all engines after push back2. Shut down engines for 1-2 engines taxi3. Restart engine near runway threshold4. TakeoffI was being told that ground engines restart requires some time to cool down, is that true? And by taking the 747-400 as an example how long could the cool down time be? Thanks a lot =]

I know this has been a problem for quite some time, but I never find any real solution to adding the IGS approach as well as the SID/STAR to the FMC database of the Wilco airbus, I've tried to edit the database file and only manages to get the airport and runway to appear on the ND, but still no luck with the SID/STAR. Has anyone got solutions for that?
  16. Don't merge it with the A346 panel, I tried it long long time ago but it never works, merge it with the A343 panel, works nicely.

Which model exactly?For the A32x I think you can google it yourself, you'll find what you need instantly.If you're referring to the A380, just merge the A340-300 panel, do not use the A340-600 panel since it won't allow you to fly slowly, it always trigger the A-Floor, merge procedure should be similar to those of A32x. Hopefully this will be helpful.
  19. Well the Wilco is the best out there so far, although it's nothing like the PMDG, its panel is acceptable. But their modeling was absolutely poor, the engine fans and the whole aircraft was poorly made. The CLS in contrast has a nice external model, but lacking of the realism of the panel and system. But one thing in common is that both of their Virtual Cockpit weren't very real.....well quite a failure.....

When I was flying and recording the flight, I did everything as usual, but when I look at the play back, I realize that the movement of the control surfaces after engaging the autopilot can't be recorded. I've disengaged the autopilot and auto throttle and the flight director during the replay, but it doesen't work. Anyone know how to solve the problem?

  22. I don't know if u guys still support AS6.5, but I'm having the same problem with my PMDG 747 running on fs9, the TAT went very extreme (+50c to -100c). I didn't check this problem with any default aircraft but there's no problem if I don't use weather update (use default weather) from AS. So........ is it global warming, or the weather update problem?
