Flight1 GTN 750/650 1.16 w Garmin Trainer Update - New Flight Plan feature

Featured Replies

I read that one of the big new features is the flight plan... wasn't this always available in the GTN? If so, then what exactly has changed or improve? Are we now able to save and load specific flight plan formats such as .PLN files made with 3rd party programs such as PFPX, etc?

It is specified in the instructions. Take the time to read the Creating Flight Plan and User Waypoint Files for the Flight1 GTN.pdf which comes with the new update.

You can't import flight plans from external formats, such as .PLN or .PFPX, but, if you learn the syntax, you can write down any flight plan on Notepad and then import it into your GTN.
