October 24, 20169 yr Commercial Member Replaced 2 970's with 1 EVGA 1070. It is smoother for sure with about the same image quality. Ground textures look good. October 25, 20169 yr Reviews I have seen suggest about the same performance with the 1070 and the 980ti. Memory bus and bandwidth are greater with 980ti may help with 4K.
