Austria photoreal scenery?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,Some time ago I saw a fantastic set of screenshots in the screenshots forum, depicting an unbelieveable looking VFR flight high over the Austrian alps. The scenery was photoreal, and absolutely fantastic to look at.Having searched the forums, and the internet, I can find only a reference to 'Austria Professional 2004', by Aerosoft. However, screenshots of this particular scenery don't seem to resemble the beautifully 'green' textures that I saw in the screenshots post.Is anyone able to point me in the direction of which Austrian scenery package this might be?Any help appreciated! Many thanks!Al.EDIT - Further searching is making me think that maybe it was FlyLogic's Switzerland Professional. This definately resembles the scenery I saw.

Correct on both.'Austria Professional' is the only similar scenery for Austria. And I would bet it was 'Switzerland Professional'.Greetings from ViennaThomas

Austria PRO made by Papa Tango is excellent photoreal scenery. I love this scenery. I used it with FS98. This and PNW Megascenery were my favorites. I have been out of FS for a couple of years and was thinking of getting the new FSX since I have Windows XP now. I'm wondering if Austria PRO (made around 98-2000??) will work with FSX or if FSX is as good as Austria PRO was?

I believe only England and wales photographic scenery is out for fsx so far. 1M per Pixel at 5M mesh. Incredible. horizonsimulation
