Tower view and AI Aircraft view

Featured Replies

When I first loaded up CP, the Tower view seemed to work very much like it did in Ezdok.  hold the middle mouse which would give you a free look option like the VC or external a/c view with zoom in and out.   With recent updates it seems this has been disabled.   Not sure if this is currently being worked or not, but if not would love for it to be added as a feature.

Also if there is an option to view AI Aircraft.  This was not a Ezdok feature but you would be able to Lock Spot 360 rotate view around other aircraft and zoom in and out.   zoom feature still works but currently unable to rotate around aircraft.

Thanks for a great product!

We disabled the feature that prevented the use of Tower View, Spot Views and other external views.

We plan on making ChasePlane more friendly to those views in the future.

Nice to be able to pan around in spot and tower view again.

But in spot view I can only pan horizontally not vertically. In tower view (and all Chaseplane views) both directions work.

I have disabled all joysticks in P3D and assigned the panning / tilting to the Hat Switch in chaseplane. No conflicting assignments.

Any idea why I can't pan vertically (tilt) in spot view?

This is hiw easely FSX/P3D gets confused with commands sent through simconnect. This is the kind of things we want to resolve in future versions.

Strange it works horizontally but not vertically.

Hope you find a fix.

Thanks.
