December 1, 200520 yr For the life of me I cannot figure out why some of my addon a/c bounce while sitting idle at some airports. The bouncing last for a few seconds when I look at the plane from the an external perspective. Most of the airports that this happens too are also addons thta are GPU intensive.I feel my sytem specs are pretty good and I am using ATI 3.9 eventhough I have tried the latest drivers but saw no improvement or even less over the old and true 3.9.Any suggestions would be appreciated ....ThanksAndy
December 1, 200520 yr I have no clue why some a/c bounce at some airports and others don't, etc. I have this too, and I've read about it before. Contact points maybe? I don't know. I sypmpathize though. If there's a fix, I've missed it too. :)http://home.earthlink.net/~dawgfighter/sit...es/swvasig1.gif-Jeremy BurchSWVA4806 http://www.virtualswa.com/home.phpThe Ozark Dogfighter http://forums.avsim.net/images/wedge.gifHappy Flying!
December 1, 200520 yr It happens to me also. For me the plane that bounces is the IFDG MD-11. I've gotten so annoyed with it I hardly fly it anymore.
December 1, 200520 yr I wonder why more attention is not given to this issue in the community or are we the only 3 that have this issue ....ThanksAndy

A proof of this, could be the bouncing not appearing when all graphic sliders and/or screen resolution are lowered or set to min. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
December 1, 200520 yr The model is set up too high so when you display it, it drops on the ground and bounces. You need to change the contact points or the aircraft reference point height. The change in FS versions somethims means this needs fixed for specific MSFS releases so go back to the maker and complain.Ian
December 1, 200520 yr Author Do a search for "Bouncing Aircraft" here in the forum. The last entry in the list contains a lot of info. I remember having the same problem with one A/C and these suggestions fixed it.
