December 10, 20169 yr Good morning. Quick question. I tried an ILS approach yesterday. Had no problem capturing the localizer, but couldn't tell where I was on the glide slope. Is there anything on the Do228 that shows if you are above or below the GS? I had to wait until I got out from the clouds before I could use the papi lights. Thanks, Colin

Thanks, Colin The GS indicator should show on the HSI when it comes alive, normally a yellow bar or marker, above the line means you are to low ( ie you will not make the runway)and below the line means you are to high.(ie you will over shoot) when not in range it shows as GS off. bob
