cirrus sf50 jet in xplane 11

Featured Replies

So I've tried some of the other planes and the autopilots seem to all work, but not the cirrus?  Or am I just doing something wrong?

Basically nothing works in the SF50 at the moment. All place holders.

No radio frequencies, no GPS, no AP.

Coming later.

As of 15 May 2017 .... the radio frequencies have been added but still no GPS (or else the method of using it eludes me.

So is there any clue when it will be added?

For me the GPS would REALLY help

As I understand it, Laminar is working on a fully modeled G1000 that can be used in any appropriate plane, like the current GNS 430 and 530 built into the sim.

That's a big job, and they didn't finish it before XP11 was released. So rather than not have the Cirrus jet at all (which is a blast to fly), they included it without the GPS. When the G1000 is ready, the Cirrus jet will be updated. No idea what the schedule on that is, but it's coming.
