Mogwaisoft Shade is an editor that lets you change the lighting in FSX (add a purple hue at dawn, a green hue at dusk if you wish!).

 

DX10 Cloud Shadows is a product that creates shadows on the ground underneath clouds.

M. Shade also creates  shadows. I use dto use it and I remember it creating shadows that is why I asked.
