December 24, 20169 yr I am in a real-time flight (except for the time of day...) going from KDTW to KMIA. I'm running XP11 Beta 3 and XEnviro v1.06 I am simply amazed at what I am seeing on this flight. We're at FL230, and the clouds, generated by XE v1.06, absolutely, dynamically morph..not blink...plunk...but so slowly morph into another density, layer, shape, form...that as far as I am concerned, this is the best weather generator I have ever seen to date, for a flight simulation. I'd say, there is no difference in this flight, and any real-life flight I have viewed out the portal. One minute it is thin vaporus clouds, and then as I fly on at Mach .77, the whole scene changes...BUT...doesn't just appear...but slowly morphs as one would expect as you are moving forward at 461 mph ground speed. Folks, if you are running XP 10 or 11, and have not yet 'signed on' to your copy of XEnviro...you are so BADLY, missing out on the other 'shoe' needed for flight simulation. This program is absolutely killer... it nails the Commercial Aviation experience. Before, I much couldn't care less about flying commercial, as no other weather generator made it look to my eyes, as what you see in the FL's. XP 10/11 and XEnviro 1.06 absolutely does. I'm now going to enjoy quite a bit more, commercial flying that I ever had to date. Times are good, but have gotten a heck of a lot more interesting in the last two days!
December 24, 20169 yr Very impressive shots! I use FSOpen Clouds for FSX:SE it certainly helps with the stock weather, but XEnviro is something else (as is XP11).
