Third-party programmers can typically only work within the SDK paradigm. If any developer works outside of that paradigm by using "custom coding" then it simply isn't possible in some cases to interface with such a product...Much of the 'advanced functionality' that developer's create makes use of such "outside the SDK paradigm" techniques, which isn't a "bad thing," but does mean that such solutions may not be compatible with other third-party programs.
