They have a new sound set for the LevelD 767 on Avsim.com file download They are fantastic in my opinion. Make a backup of the originals, in case you want to go back, but I don't think you will.

Des Braban's set? Yeah I've flown a couple of flights today and it's a keeper.Easiest way to use is make a folder called "Sound.DesBraban" in your LVLD_B763 folder. Drop all the files in that, then point the aircraft.cfg to it with the "sound=DesBraban" line

Yeah I have the new soundpack and it's amazing! Really like it.

>are you going to tell us the filename please? lvldsndpk.zipI just unzipped it and copied the entire folder into the 767-300 folder after I had renamed the orginal LevelD sound folder originalsound-bkup.Then I renamed the new folder "sound". Make it easy to go back to the original. if you don't like it.

Have not tried them yet but a quick point. Are these official Level D sounds? Are they sounds we would like to think a 767 sounds like or are they really what a 767 sounds like as there is a huge difference.In the past people have complained that Jet X is too silent and demanded louder sounds when infact Jet X real world is whisper silent up front.ie our perception of what we think sounds should be and what they really are can differ?Just like an expert opinion from someone who knows as I personally have never flown up front in a 767 :-)and wouldnt know which was the most realistic.Peter

Its good you like 'em :)Peter, the ones spoken about in this thread aren't from anyone within Level-D.The drivers on the beta team did a lot of work with the sounds guy to get the ones provided sounding like they do. They can vouch for the realisim of the sounds supplied :)

I tried these and but I like the default better. I do like the startup sounds of the new pack but overall I side with the default sounds and trust the developers got them as close as possible to the real aircraft.
