Final Approach into UGMS Mestia - Caucasus

Featured Replies

For sure the greatest flight I've ever had was from Natakhtari (near Tbilisi) to Mestia in the Caucasus mountains. After this I got inspired to build the airport for P3D and now I am able to enjoy regular flights there, however only virtually :)

Here one of the landings on Runway 02. This is for sure no 10nm-straight in approach but the Twotter with its low speeds is just perfect for it.

Beautiful approach. Reminds me a lot of my many (mostly unsuccessful) attempts landing Paro (VQPR) Bhutan rwy 33. I've got to try it again in the Twin Otter. Nice job, thank you for the scenery and thanks also for the awesome vid.

Thank you Jev. Indeed my first approaches here went quite differently as well. Even with a Cessna 172 it was quite difficult for me.

Paro is another classic, I kind of hoped FSDG could Mestia :) But I couldn't wait ..
