February 9, 20179 yr hi there I have been flying the new 747 400 a lot this week so far. I would like to know when I select runway on fmc I select put in 20 miles put some odd reason the pink line doesn't appear for autoland for the plane to follow just shows arrows pointing to star airport the plane doesn't follow it because no pink line. I would really like to know how to do auto land on the new queen of skies 2 747 400 plane please from colin
February 9, 20179 yr Commercial Member Hi Colin, Unfortunately it;s not quite that simple. Did you by any chance try the Tutorial flight we included with the aircraft? That will show you precisely how to set up the Autoland as well as help familiarize you with the aircraft. February 9, 20179 yr Author hi there thank you for your reply where can I find the tutorial flight please and how I get manual up as well please from colin thank you
February 9, 20179 yr Either the Operations Center, or if using FSX, from your main FSX folder, go PMDG, PMDG 747 OOTS II, Flight Manuals. You'll find the Introduction Manual there and the Tutorial Flight in addition to the QRH and FCOM. The first two are what you're looking for. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
February 9, 20179 yr Good day, My name is Vitaly. I've recently bought your new product B747 v3. Unfortunately after installing it I faced some issues with signs ( see screens attached ) and when I connect GPU - it doesn't appear on the Overhead that the EXT Power is available. I tried to re-install it couple of times but nothing happen. Any ideas how can I fix that? Thank you in advance,
February 9, 20179 yr Commercial Member Welcome to the forum Vitaliy. Please note a couple things: It's considered poor form to interject your own issues into a thread someone else started. This thread is to discuss the issues that Colin is having, which are unrelated to the ones you raise. If they're directly related, it's somewhat understandable, but for unrelated issues, it's best to create your own thread. Full names are required in the forum, please - first and last. Kyle Rodgers
