Captain's Navigational Display (ND) Issue

Featured Replies

On a short hop currently flying the British Airways RR version.  The captain's ND does not display the following when toggled even when undocked:

VOR does not toggle on or off

APP, VOR, PLN not displaying when rotating the knob, displays only the MAP

CTR does not toggle compass rose on or off

Change in range, currently stays on 10 NM

TFC does not show on ND when button is pressed.

WXR, STA, WPT, ARPT, DATA, POS, TERR do not show on ND when buttons are pressed.

Also, the CTR button does not move when pressed, it appears everything on the FO's side is working as it should.

The following is correctly displayed at the top:

GS/TAS

Wind/Heading

Heading

Next waypoint-Zulu Time-Distance NM

I updated the OC before starting the simulator and observed DLL's being installed/updated.  I tried to cycle the VC views using the keyboard as well.

Robert,

Sounds like an interesting issue. Do you have the SimConnect versions installed that we require in P3D installs?

Hi Kyle,

I started the sim yesterday after the PC was off for a couple of days and all works fine, the ND behaved as it should.

The behaviour may have been triggered by a selection on the Captain's CDU. If it happens again, check your CDU Menu page to see if the EFIS CP function has been accidentally activated.

Cheers

Will do John, come to think of it I do recall being in the menu page playing around with things, thanks for the heads up.
