Floats on the Carenado Cessna 206

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if the future Carenado 206, with floats, will be an update to the existing model - or will this be an additional package customers must pay for? See the news story at http://www.carenado.com/ecommerce/novedades.php3

The way it reads, were gonna pay!Maybe a chance of a discount for us who bought the 206?

It'll be a seperate package, though they said they're going to combine them into one product later or something. I wish they'd hurry up with the amphibian.

Hey just a quick question about he Carenado 206 - how's the refresh rate in the virtual cockpit? Smoother than it is for the Carenado 210?

The 210M has the most sluggish VC of any add-on I own; the 206 has one of the smoothest. It's very well done.Lewis "Moose" GregoryRichmond, Virginia

That's great to hear! Guess I'll be buying the 206 afterall :}

So, if I want both versions, I'll just have to shell out for two of what is basically the same model? :-hmmm I hope, at least, that Carenado will consider some kind of discount for customers who purchase the existing model.

Probably the float package is an additional (albeit dicounted) expense to current owners of the aircraft; they'll run it for a while and then offer only the complete package for purchase?...
