February 24, 20179 yr Firstly i am impressed as always by the quality of PMDG. Secondly , I just want you to share my 50/50 thoughts around an sales strategi like , Airbus hitting the market in a 3-6 year window. How about that ? But back to business. I must admit i never had the time to load both. My vacation was consuming the Airbus I am a very amateur 747 sim pilot so i do break a leg before asking. . Concern 1: Delay of action Autopilot seems like having an old CPU installed right ? Concern 2 : Extremely trim to be used to maintain level during downwind leg etc. Also very challening to maintain manual teqnique. I tried some circuits and just to confirm . Do you really see a massive drop in V/S when turning and in trim ? Worse with flaps extended Looking forward to some videos with prof advise (Airline2Sim) Thanks Michael Moe Michael Moe
February 24, 20179 yr Sounds like you are over controlling..., not sure what "extremely trim" refers to because I find her a very easy airplane to hand fly but make pitch changes slowly and deliberate. Excessive loss of altitude in a turn simply means you're not applying back pressure in the bank. You're not flying a FBW aircraft, she flies like a big heavy powerful Cessna. Dan Downs KCRP
February 24, 20179 yr Author Maybe my bank is to much. Everything besided 15degr. is a no go . She drop at least 400-800/f/m. Trim is to to controlled here Thanks Michael Moe Michael Moe
February 24, 20179 yr Author I have not flown an ILS down to the runway. Training downwind , not sure the same values applies for the 747 as for the 320 Keep triyng to manual landing this bird.. Michael Moe
