January 1, 200620 yr I was just ready about all of the features of FSBuild and the following caught my eye:"Exporting of Flight Plans to various FlightSim FMS/GPS add-ons. Exporting formats available: ....LDS-767"Since I am now trying to learn to program the LDS-767 FMC, does the above mean that you can "build" a flight plan in FSBuild and transfer DIRECTY in the LDS-767 FMC without any of the normal programing steps. It took me over one hour to program the Tutorial #1 flight. This sure would be a BIG help if this is what it means. jerrycwo4
January 1, 200620 yr Hi Jerrythats exactly what it means, have a look at my reply to you in your double flight plan thread. I think it's a great program and would highly recommend it.Steve
January 1, 200620 yr Yes, this is what this means. FSBuild produces a route file for LD767. Note that you would still have to enter program the FMC with other non-route related information like performance information. The FSBuild-generated file simulates a company route file for the FMC. This 767 simulation is quite complex because its level of realism. Since one is simulating piloting one of this aircraft, part of the fun could be dealing with all the systems it models. Like a new 767-300 real pilot would, I'm sure you're proud of that hour you spent programming the FMC. I can assure you that if you continue programming the FMC, the programming time will shorten significantly. January 1, 200620 yr Author Basically, you build the plan using FS Build. Export it to LDS-767. Under CO Route enter in the name (Sydney to Brisbane for example) YSSYYBBN and it'll load up the waypoints. You'll still need to program things in like ZFW, fuel reserves and the like, but it cuts down the time.Theres special profiles built for the 767 so perfomance is more realistic. As Steve said, its a great program.
