Trackir Problems

Featured Replies

Hello Keven,

I am seeing the same behaviour. in (Prepar3D), TrackIR works perfectly alone, ChasePlane works perfectly alone, they do not work together. I have TrackIR slider set on (Green) in CAMERA > Advanced Tab > General Options.

I have  removed both simconnect.manifest and simconnectSP2.manifest from the folder C: Program Files (x86)> Natural Point > TrackIR5

My startup sequence is launch ChasePlane from the desktop then load P3D then start TrackIR.

No positive result.

Please advise

Thanks in anticipation

Andrew

Don't mean to necro an old thread but I've been struggling with the same problem as all of you since the release of v4, and I just today finally found what fixed it for me - reset preferences to factory settings in ChasePlane.  As soon as I did that it immediately connected to TrackIR.

for any diagnostic help that might be for the team

Not running experimental version

Latest TrackIR, had tried reinstalling multiple times no success

TrackIR directory only had the .cp.bkp files

Chaseplane had the +TrackIR in the logo, but TrackIR showed not connected and there was no functioning head movement in the sim
