March 9, 20179 yr I've re-installed FS2004 and now want to add some scenery areas but, they mostly require Trees files by a Gerrish Grey. I've tried numerous sites and read forums but, just can't locate any at all by this author. Does anyone here know of a reliable site to obtain them or, can a substitute be recommended? Thanks in advance.
March 9, 20179 yr Last I saw they were in an essential files section over on Flightsim.com - you want trees_v3.zip. His last name uses the US spelling it's "Gray". DJ
March 9, 20179 yr Author Thanks 'ubersu' for the link, etc., but, Flightsim.com are now specifically saying this file (trees_v3.zip) is no longer available.
March 10, 20179 yr Try this http://simviation.com/fs2002utilities_ess1.htm page near the bottom . . . DJ
March 10, 20179 yr Author Thanks again 'ubersu' - that link worked. (ps - my sincere apologies for misspelling the author's surname in the topic title, especially if possibly they're no longer with us... Despite being English, it was simply a typo and realise Gray is the normal American spelling.) Best wishes, Christopher
March 10, 20179 yr No apologies required - I grew up in Europe and Turkey and spell "Grey" as "Grey"; as it should be. I just put on my armour when the spelling is questioned. Glad you got the files. DJ
March 13, 20179 yr Speaking of trees_v3, I'm having difficulty installing it. The instructions are a bit above my pay grade/experience. Can someone dumb it down for me?
