New purchase- Chase Plane crashes on startup

Hello,

Just purchased the Alpha version of Chase Plane and am looking for some assistance here to get Chase Plane up and running.

Installed Vfx Central then Chase Plane.

With FSX-A open and starting Chase Plane, the application just crashes. No app windows or dialog boxes.

The crash window that is automatically generate don the desktop shows no log files.

The Windows Event log shows the following .NET runtime error. Currently I have .NET 4.5 installed.

Not sure if this will be of any help, but

Are you attempting to start both VFX Central and ChasePlane with FSX_SE?   If so, then try turning off VFX Central, so that it only loads when you click on the icon.  It's only needed for installation of new software.

If that doesn't work then try doing the same thing with ChasePlane, so that you have to manually start it.  This, just to see if FSX_SE will load without it.

Hopefully, by then someone will step in with some real suggestions. :smile:

No worries Ernie but thanks for responding. I found the problem.

.NET was not up to date! :rolleyes:

I eventually found you need .NET 4.5.2 installed. Installed this version and then I was able to run Chase Plane manually.

Problem solved.
