April 1, 20179 yr Swedish physician and researcher Dr. Magnus Strabismus of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Lund has published a paper in the Journal of Ophthalmological Letters ( 34:3 2314-2319) which demonstrates how to obtain vertigo-free 3D viewing of videos and still images without the aid of a Virtual Reality headset: https://michaelscroggins.wordpress.com/explorations-in-stereoscopic-imaging/learn-the-cross-eye-free-viewing-technique/ The technique is simple and requires about 10 minutes per day of training for a period of several weeks. The technique is based on retraining the brain to allow immediate comprehension of screen-based 3D images. Dr. Strabismus has also developed a mobile training app, which is available for Android and iPhone: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/39442476
