April 14, 20179 yr What I liked on the PMDG MD-11 was that the elevators, despite using keyboard, would return to neutral after pulling up or pushing down rather than staying in the position you left off. Does the 747v3 have this feature as well? It'll be easier for me to engage the autopilot on take off! -Angelo Angelo Busato

Assign it to a key that you'll remember and just tap that prior to engaging the AP. Our products pack a lot of detail into them, and I'd argue you're missing out by flying with the keyboard. If you can spend what you spend on our software, I think it isn't unreasonable to justify spending a few dollars on a cheap flight stick. Kyle Rodgers
April 14, 20179 yr Honestly - If you can do so, as Kyle says, even picking up a cheap flight stick, especially with a throttle and some kind of rudder control (at least for ground handling!) should give you a night & day difference. If you're using a laptop for portability then having to lug around a joystick may not be that practicable. Back in the days of sublogic's ATP my experience was greatly improved by buying a joystick with throttle. Yes but it only does that for the rudder and ailerons, the elevators are unaffected. -Angelo Edited April 16, 20179 yr by killairbus Forgot name at the end Angelo Busato
