Kalitta config questions

Featured Replies

I would like to get a realistic Kalitta config. Would someone be able to help me out? Basics such as whether lbs or kgs is the most important since most of Kalitta's fleet comes from other airlines. Thank you. - David Lee

Kalitta used to be lbs/deg F, so I expect they still are. I was part of the team that installed their first 747-200 sim (which was ex-KLM) and one of the things we had to do was convert the indicators to US units. With the -400 it's easier to standardise a diverse fleet as many options are by pin programming, but physical items may have been left as was.

Thanks! Do you remember any other settings such as what callouts they use (2500, 500, 100 etc) and any other options? - David Lee

Sorry David, I wasn't involved with the GPWS so I have no idea what callouts they use.

Hopefully someone more directly involved with Kalitta Air will reply.

Are the repaints you requested along with these config files available somewhere?  Kalitta have some interesting flights that are of reasonable length for trying out in the sim.

N744CK is a PMDG release they have released a BCF and F repaint. My N744CK config is for the BCF. No other repaints yet outside of PMDG and one Kalitta DHL BCF in the avsim library.  - David Lee
