Am lost this is doing my head in

Featured Replies

I have the 737 and 777 and when requesting engine start most is done on set up by the first officer.

Seems the dash 8 does not do this for me, can't ever work out what is happening or what the first officer is doing if anything.

I get no flows like in the 737 like pre-start flow  I ask for him to start 2 and he acknowledges but nothing seems to happen upon watching youtube they seem to have START Engines I just have start engine 2 or 1 but nothing at all happens very

annoyingly. The dash 8 is not my fav plane and the fs2crew for it seems no better than the plane ATM.

sorry this sounds like am just ######ing, am a big fan of fs2crew but this has annoyed the hell out of me after 3 hours of trying to get this bird in the air. fs2crew normally helps me learn flows in others but just ain't doing it in this.

wouldn't mind if I crashed but I haven't even moved.

All you need to do is print out the manual:

http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=flows4

All the flows are described there.  FS2Crew for the Dash 8 is almost an exact replicate of the same procedures used at an old US airline.

You can't just "wing" the Dash 8 version; manual is a must :-)

Best,
