April 27, 20179 yr I just bought Pro ATC/X and I'm having issues as a new user. Can anyone shed some light? I received some weird instructions that messed up my flight into Paris from London. 1) On Vectors to FAF into CDG - receive message "turn xxx proceed on course"!???? Followed by immediate "turn xxx - cleared ILS approach". 2) After being cleared approach and on loc/gs - message "climb to 5000 feet"??? 5000 feet was the intercept altitude. At this point I'm descending on the g/s at 3000 feet. Then contact tower, at this point I am too high to land because I complied with the order. There was no interfering traffic on the moving map. What is going on? Another issue: I do not get a STAR clearance by name. I only get the transition name. I've done flights to Dublin and Paris, and both times the STAR in my plan was not mentioned once. For example, into EIDW: Cleared KERAV transition - no mention of STAR. Same in Paris on the Bibbix STAR - cleared XXX transition. Thanks - I hope this software wasn't a waste of money and that I'm doing something wrong here....

April 27, 20179 yr Hi, Just an advice: if you want to flight liners following the published procedures, do not include the SID nor the STAR in your fp. Just be sure you start in the last wp of a SID and the end is the entry point of a STAR. The PRO ATC will assign the correct SID (dep clearance) and STAR (approach) according to winds. Best regards Jesús Serrano

Best regards ah, I was going to try that actually, thanks for confirming. I had the STAR transitions in my FP.
