April 28, 20179 yr If that was the most recent change to your sim, which is always good first step in troubleshooting crashes, then I would look into that controller issue. When did you buy the Bell 407, because I just found this at the Org: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/120688-dreamfoil-creations-bell-407-for-x-plane-11-released/ If you bought it prior to this date, then you would need the update. If you literally just bought it when it released, then something hinky is going on.
