Benton to Eureka

Well I flew the Lear back to Redding, drove to Benton (O85), decided to take the RV7 out for a pattern lap, then headed out to Eureka (Murray KEKA).  Everything was lovely until I noticed a deck of clouds as I approached EKA.  Between the clouds and the terrain, I had to descend, instead of risk getting stuck on top over the Pacific Ocean.  The weather wasn't as bad as I thought though and the landing at EKA was uneventful.

Thanks, I do enjoy both sims.  I had been using xp11 for some time but I missed my OOM making Orbx scenery hehe.  And I don't have anything for the PNW in XP11.  I also miss some of my favorite planes.

Love the Murray Field with the mud flats and Eureka rendered nicely....nearby Rohnerville also a good one!
