Are Aerosim's aircraft any good???

Recommended Posts

I really love the selection on Aerosim's site and would most likely get some of the birds if more airbases were offered. I want Miramar back in the days of Top Gun, Lemoore CA, and Fallen NAS. Presently those airports aren't offered by Aerosim (or anyone else). With no real combat campaign Red Flag in Nevada would be a great area to practice mock missions if Aerosim added that in some why to their Nellis scenery (maybe add some mock target scenery here and there).Anyway the aircraft look awesome to me with most of them containing VC's. My question is are the Flight Models any good with these aircraft??? Are the VC's fully interactive and do they have decent night lighting? Avionics wise most of the older aircraft (jets, bombers, etc) didn't have blazing cutting edge technology so I guess avionics modeling really doesn't matter. Same goes for the new jets like the B-2 Spirit and the F117a. In FS there's nothing to shoot at or engage or lock onto and bomb so basic navigation is all anyone could ask for with a halfway decent representation of what the system actually look like in the real plane (monochrome displays, etc).So tell me guys, are these planes any good or do we have a company like 'Perfect Flight' with a great graphics artist on the team???
