June 7, 20178 yr Does anyone have any info on AIFP being updated to work with v4? I'm using the AIG flightplans from the library with the models and liveries. Is there a way to install these without AIFP?
June 7, 20178 yr AIFP has been updated to work with P3d V4. My version says 3.2.06(i) which is a developmental release. I don't use the flight plans from the AVSIM library, so I can't help you with that. Any FS9 version of any AI aircraft will not work correctly in P3d V4, so you should check the AIG website for any updates.

Is there a way to install these without AIFP? Why would you want to? AIFP will do everything you need to do. And fully customizable. Just select the zip from AIG and AIFP will lay out the routes and aircraft. When you are done downloading and installing the aircraft just hit compile and it will do it all for you. Just make sure you have the models installed. For example if it downloads the FAIB A320S United Airlines. That is just the repaint. You need to go to FAIB and download/install the models. So then when you install the A320S United repaint AIFP sees you have the model and installs it and updates your aircraft.cfg all done for you. I was wondering if there was another way to use the models with the flightplans than AIFP but since you say it's been updated that's sorted. Most models are FSX native and the others are being converted. Just now, jason99vmi said: Why would you want to? AIFP will do everything you need to do. And fully customizable. Just wanted to know if there was a way other than AIFP in case it hadn't been updated.

Sorry it was hard to tell from your question. You could unzip and just insert the flightplan but then you have no way of knowing if the aircraft are correct and match the routes. AI traffic is a bit of a mess when trying to get all the models for v4....
