Content error in Camera.cfg error message

Recommended Posts

Hi this CP message has suddenly started popping up when I close P3D:

I have looked at the camera config file I have only 4 Chaseplane cameras configured in the camera file (tho many more plane views have been saved).

All the above entries are in the file with a setting of 0 (zero degrees). I have no idea what I am supposed to do, edit the entry to another setting or delete because the heading says "found duplicate key name"?

Any advice Kevin would be much appreciated?

Cheers

Reinstall ChasePlane, we made those changes to the camera definitions file but they don't apply unless you reinstall it.

Negative result I am sorry to report. I uninstalled CP, restarted PC and then reinstalled. The content error report reappeared and then CP stopped working (as reported in other post).

I renamed that txt report and ran a short flight and CP produced another content error report. I am signing off for tonight 1300Z here.

Cheers

Note: the fix is on the Experimental version only. Let me know if that changes anything for you

Thanks Keven,

I have always run with the experiemental option ticked on. I fixed it after restarting the sim several times and still getting the error by going into the file and changing the degree value from 0 to 30 in the 4 entries , that value I copied from the same entry elsewhere in the file. Then restarted v4 and the errors have gone.

Chaseplane is closing down well also now, so long as I dont have the CP UI open on my 2nd monitor that process seems to want to crash CP.

Cheers for all the good work.

Another bouquet for how the aircraft views in CP migrate automatically from FSX into v4 when you run the same aircraft. I installed Dino's pretty T45C today and was pleasantly surprised when CP in v4 showed me at YSSY with all my views I had created in FSX... nice.
